Garlic Planting at Shalom Park

Join us at our new Shalom Park farm site for our very first community planting day! Together, we’ll plant the first crop to ever go in the ground at this new site — garlic! This symbolic planting marks the beginning of a new chapter for Ekar Farm, as we root our future in sustainable growth and community connection.

No experience needed — we’ll provide tools, gloves, and plenty of guidance. Come ready to get your hands in the soil and help us kick off this exciting new era at Shalom Park.

What to bring:

  • Closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty

  • A water bottle and sun protection

  • Friends, family, and good energy!
