Exciting Updates for 2026: A New Chapter for Ekar Farm! 

The Space

In Spring of 2026, we will begin farming at our new permanent location at Shalom Park. We will continue working with the city of Aurora on site plans, public works projects, and building necessary infrastructure. We’ll cultivate our crops, build community, and improve soil complexity and health on this new space together. 

Ekar Farm grows 100% of its produce through sustainable organic methods, never relying on synthetic inputs. We practice systems of regenerative farming and work to leave the land in better condition than we found it. Ekar Farm produces the majority of its harvest on traditional in-ground beds. We utilize drip irrigation to conserve water use and practice mulching and cover cropping to restore nutrients to the soil.

Who We Serve

As a nonprofit organization, Ekar Farm is dedicated to serving marginalized communities and communities with limited food access throughout the Denver metro area. We work with a number of partner organizations to ensure fresh, nutrient-dense produce is available to families and community members in our city.
